Ashamaz Zaifov is a Russian conductor.
A graduate of the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State University, Faculty
of Opera and Symphony Conducting (class of Professor, Honored Artist of Russia
V.A. Altshuler). He participated in workshops of Dorian Wilson, Vladimir
Fedoseev, Sabria Bekirova.
Since 2014, he has been a participant and organizer of concerts of young
performers within the framework of the Y.H. Temirkanov Festival.
In 2017, he created a chamber orchestra, with which he performs at various
venues in St. Petersburg.
He also collaborates with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra (Artistic
Director I. Rudin), the Symphony Orchestra of the Leningrad Region (artistic
director M.Golikov), the symphony Orchestra t;1703" (artistic director G.Fedorov),
with the Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Conservatory and with the
Symphony Orchestra of the Philharmonic of the Republic of Adygea.
